Living with Cancer – Peer support group

Lisätietoa tapahtumasta

Living with Cancer is a monthly peer support group for cancer survivors in Finland. We meet online, so you can join us no matter your location in Finland.
You don’t have to be a native English speaker to join. All you need is the willingness to talk about life with or after cancer in English, and that you reside in Finland.

On Sep 27 our theme is sustainable self-care. We will begin our meetup with a talk by Heide Nuutinen, a Dipl.-Psych., licenced Psychologist (Valvira), and Relaxation Therapist (from 2 Kind Minds). She will help us to start to find the resources for what you think matters most to you right now. Learn more about how to structure your life according to your own needs, to set clear boundaries, to use self-compassion and to actively relax. Nuutinen will guide us through some easy to use tools and exercises that are designed to increase well-being and energy levels while supporting you in building a sustainable self-care routine. There will be plenty of time for discussion.
